With several clicks of the mouse in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel, you can switch between 5 different levels of security. If you still get unsolicited bulk messages or the email filters start preventing genuine messages from entering your inbox, you can switch to another level just as easily. If you do not want to risk missing an authentic email message that may be classified as spam because of its content, you can also create custom filters based on the sender, the body or the subject of the message and re-send the emails to another mailbox where you can read them at a later time.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you use one of our semi-dedicated servers, you won’t need to worry about unsolicited bulk emails cramming your mailboxes every now and then, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin email filter that we provide with each account. Our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will permit you to enable the filter for any email account with a couple of clicks and you can select one of the five security levels – from very low to very high. The level can be altered at any moment if, for example, genuine messages get blocked, or if junk emails go through and reach your Inbox folder. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered email messages to be delivered to a special mailbox like spam@your-domain.com and not to be erased. Thus, you can go through them every now and then to make sure that you haven’t missed a genuine email.
